An inside story …

Last month Chadwick had the pleasure of selling what would have to be one of the cutest character homes in Ku-ring-gai. One of the original worker cottages in North Turramurra, 246 Bobbin Head Road, had a David White designed extension made to it fifteen years ago, making it not just cute but practical and functional as a family home and since then, Chadwick has re-sold the home three times, this time with Matt Bolin.

The property has always attracted gorgeous owners who invariably are leaving with regret and fond memories of their time as her custodian. This cycle has again been repeated with our wonderful vendors, Sue and Tim Knox and their three children, selling to move back to their home in the UK after 22 years.

In that time Time has run a successful advertising agency and built the “Mothership”, a beautiful river house boat, while Sue has enjoyed a highly successful stint as Head of Junior School at Pymble Ladies College. The families enjoyment of Ku-ring-gai in general, North Turramurra in particular, has been of the amazing natural beauty of the area, the village atmosphere of North Turramurra and with Tim so involved with the building of his house boat there was an absolute attraction to the waterways in the National Park nearby.

As Tim says “we are looking forward to returning to the UK and reconnecting with family and friends but will definitely miss the house and the friendships we have made in our time here.”
